The realtor who punched 3 people at a Trump rally has been let go...

and his license taken away. This was told to a fellow Democrat who had called the office to complain about what he did. The realty company was trying to figure out the best way to get the word out and the first thing I thought of was Democratic Underground.

The following is a quote from my friend:

"So I just got a call from the Realtor’s office. SHe thanked me for calling. They had already dismissed the Realtor who attacked three people at a Trump rally, pulled his license, and are trying to figure out how to let people know that this was unacceptable."

I hope this is OK to do on DU.

The realty company would have major liability if it kept him around and he erupted and punched a client. He seems to have serious issues.

And are international in their "franchise". They are a little MLMish (like Amway, Mary Kay) in their structure.

I know two of the company Sr. executives and my guess is the leadership has the ideology of making money. Given that this guy was impacting their company's image (and bottom line), they pulled the plug. Easy as the guy was probably just "recruit" at the bottom of the pyramid.

of their realtor. Following is the initial comment she received when she made the original call:

"I called the number for the Keller Williams broker….the very nice receptionist told me that he actually works from a different office and gave me the number, 828-290-8183, and left a detailed message, along with my name and number."

The original article was posted last night on DU. I can see if I can find it.

If he were merely changing companies, his new broker would then get a new copy with the new company name on it. Licenses typically have to be displayed at the place of business. If there is a complaint against him, it would have to be investigated by the licensing dept. Usually takes weeks if not months to do.

from the SC RE licence website:

Complaint/Disciplinary Information

The Commission can take disciplinary action against a licensee only if there are facts which support a charge resulting in the finding of a violation(s) of the S.C. Real Estate License Law. The Commission is not empowered to assist with the following type of complaints:

Contract matters such as questions about listing agreements, management agreements, sales contracts and leases for which you need to contact an attorney;

Earnest money or security deposit disputes that must be heard by a magistrate;

Disputes over payment for services either by or to a licensee;

Disputes with your landlord about property condition, past due rent, eviction notices and the like;

Complaints that do not involve a licensed real estate licensee;

Complaints about managers of homeowners associations; or

Complaints relating to licensee ethical behavior or poor business manners

Brokerage company to use them. By "pulling" they mean his license is no longer active under their Brokerage. He needs to find another company that will accept him, or start his own firm. And he can't legally engage is Real Estate activities with the public until he does.
