Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren to campaign for Hillary Clinton in Ohio

Slipping in the polls, Hillary Clinton is deploying Sens. Bernard Sanders and Elizabeth Warren — heroes among the far-left Democratic base — to the battleground state of Ohio this weekend.

Mr. Sanders and Mrs. Warren are scheduled to campaign for Mrs. Clinton this weekend in Ohio, the Clinton campaign announced Thursday.

Mr. Sanders was Mrs. Clinton’s top rival in the Democratic presidential primary contest, and Mrs. Warren is a frequent critic of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Polls from Bloomberg and CNN/ORC released on Wednesday showed Mr. Trump leading Mrs. Clinton in Ohio, and he has moved ahead of her in the state in the latest Real Clear Politics average.

Mrs. Clinton herself is scheduled to be back on the campaign trail Thursday in North Carolina after being sidelined with pneumonia.

He was able to rally the young voters (as well as the older voters (myself included). There are still a lot of Bernie supporters out there who aren't supporting Hillary. I want to see him out there, all over the place rallying the people to get behind Hillary.

He'll I've tried, I'm not enthusiastic about her, but she's better than Trump.
