is
The Upper Limit of Calcium for your age is 10 mg/dl in the USA.... Calcium levels above this should be considered too high for your age.

Meaning 10.0.
It is possible it is 9.8 and was misread.

No way could it be a true 98 number.
Source for above value (I entered age 70 for calculation) is: http://www.parathyroid.com/Normal-Blood-Calcium-Levels.htm

The important question is Why did not "Dr" Oz not know the normal calcium value!!!!! He read 98 and said it was normal, right? I did not see the actual show but that is what I heard.

A cardiac calcium score of 98 for a 70 yr old is actually not that high....

http://www.diaxray.com/services/vcu_cardiac_scoring.html

Tim Russert had a score of 210 in 1998 as a 48yr old....He passed away in 2008
