Flint pastor not talking after Donald Trump calls her 'nervous mess'

(I'll keep checking and post, should she change her mind. )

FLINT, MI -- The Flint pastor who hosted Donald Trump at her church Wednesday, Sept. 14, isn't responding to comments the Republican presidential candidate made after his appearance when he called her a "nervous mess."

The Rev. Faith Green Timmons of Bethel United Methodist Church came to the door of her home on Flint's south side Thursday, Sept. 15, allowing two men who said they were doing work there inside, but would not speak to a reporter from MLive-The Flint Journal.

Timmons made news Wednesday when she interrupted Trump and told him to steer clear of politics while speaking in her church during his campaign appearance.

In a statement distributed to reporters Wednesday, Timmons said Trump's visit did not constitute an endorsement by her or her church, but was an example of how the United Methodist church is an "open communion table."

She has not responded to Tump's comments Thursday.

During an interview with "Fox and Friends" Thursday, Trump said that he was treated well while in Flint, but that Timmons seemed nervous -- "like a nervous mess" -- when introducing him.

He later added that "everyone plays their games, it doesn't bother me."

she got him, he had to back down. She did a good job to stop him. He looked weak.

He looked like a bully school boy who knew he was very close to getting his knuckles smacked with a ruler.

Trump continues his efforts to end up without a single minority vote. More power to him, in this regard.

14. It is obvious to me that he doesn't give a damn about Flint. Nothing positive came of his visit

He didn't spend enough time, in total, to get even a tenuous grasp of what the water crisis has done to the city. He wasted a whole lot of people's precious time and energy.

It will be, for me, one of the biggest "WTF" events of this campaign season.
