The media needs to stop with Trump 24/7 and give Hillary equal time

Perhaps Trump deserves extra airtime on TMZ, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood and the like because he's a psychotic clown, and a lot of people find that entertaining. Hillary belongs on the news.

But, at the very least, if the news media wants to regain its integrity, at least give Hillary equal time to Trump. Let Trump talk about his his wealth, how great he is, wanting Hillary dead, and call him out on his lies, threats, and vulgarity. Let Hillary talk about domestic policy, foreign policy, her experience, and her knowledge, and call her out if she says something as terrible as what Trump says. While Trump might be more entertaining, we have the right to know where the candidates stand and have a serious conversation. The problem is that Trump relies on the belief that any publicity is good publicity, and it actually seems to be true, but really the news media has a responsibility to its profession to serve the American public.

Maybe after today, the news media will wake up and not allow itself to be played by the Trump campaign. I doubt it, but anything is possible.
