I'm on team Hillary, I've made no bones about that.
I am also on Team Democrat, I've also made no bones about that.
We are in the middle of the short General election cycle and I don't have time for doom & gloom. I'm keeping my head held high doing voter registrations & phone banking and for a little icing on the cake protesting a trump rally tomorrow.
These are the type of people I associate myself with.

You have done an outstanding job on DU and elsewhere keeping people informed about Hillary and the important issues, as well as keeping our spirits up. 
I believe I can handle myself whatever they throw at me. It's not like I've never dealt with assholes like this before. Out of all the protests I have been to, I believe this to be one of the most important, literally.

We will be waiting for your safe return and the stories you'll have to tell. This is an honorable thing to do, but its perfectly fine should you change your mind about attending the protest.

That might be the only way I'd even consider entering a Trump rally...that, or if someone lent me a tank.
And I see a few others have said this, but it bears repeating - be careful at the Trump rally!!
It seems more dangerous now than it used to be.
I've been phone banking for Hillary and our congressional candidates. It is very rewarding to feel like you are doing something to help affect change. I highly recommend it! 
Just be careful!
