I can't believe Politico's turnaround this year.

Politico started off years ago as a Republican mouthpiece. Now, it in one of the more truly balanced political sites that hasn't been afraid to take Trump to the woodshed over his more outrageous lies. I hope people notice the course correction and direct traffic its way.

I've noticed it, too. They still go off the edge every once in awhile and get it wrong, but for the Liberal_Stalwart71 Sep 2016 #4

don't know if that was when they were still "Republican", but they've always struck me as having a great edge on getting the "inside" story on things.

My problem with them is that their perspective has always been the insider perspective. And frequently that perspective is, at best, ideologically blinkered group think, and at worst, wrong.

That said, their reportage is quality. They can get the stories. But their interpretation of them has been very beltway.

most part, there's been a noticeable turnaround. They have even become more even-handed in their reporting when it comes to President Obama.
