Lots of the article is a cut down of the coward bully Trump. As for the suggestion of going after him on his manhood?? For me, that would put her in the gutter with slimy Trump (although, I have to admit, I would love to have Hillary get a few good zingers in about his being the bully!!)

Hillary should debate Trumps manhood and cowardice
By Bob Beckel, contributor
Hillary Clinton goes into Monday's first presidential debate with high expectations. This is not a good thing for Clinton. High expectations in presidential debates are never a good thing.
In this debate, ironically, Clinton's greatest strength, experience, is her greatest weakness. In this election year, experience is an albatross. Her experience ties Clinton to the status quo, and there are millions of voters who believe the status quo sucks.
As an activist lawyer, First Lady of Arkansas AND First Lady of the United States, a twice-elected U.S. Senator from New York, a former Secretary of State, Clinton reeks of the quo.
Her opponent? A developer of mostly mediocre properties who made a small fortune (very small) with his daddy's money. He has stiffed subcontractors and tenants, hired undocumented workers, went bankrupt on three casinos (hard to do).
He was a reality TV performer, but when it hemorrhaged ratings, he jumped ship to run for president. He is the owner of a for-profit university that allegedly bilked students of millions, that was forced to close by the Justice Department and that is now facing trial for racketeering.
That said about this scam artist, ......................

(44,998 posts)who is running a limp campaign.
He's always shrunk from real challenges
and his contributions to the public good
are tiny. He presents the most flaccid
excuses for not revealing his tax returns,
his weak explanations just aren't satisfying.
He has no experience at running anything
except his own bankrupt businesses and
you can be sure as soon as Putin shows
his strength, Trump will run with his
tail between his legs.

That should be her prime focus.
No doubt there will be opportunities to point out Trump's questionable and fraudulent activities during the debate, and I have all the confidence that she will hit that strong, but in my view Americans are looking for solutions to jobs, why they can't afford a house, healthcare, and how to afford college for their kids, not a reality show
Trump is all over the board constantly spewing falsehoods and distortions, and no doubt Hillary will point that out very aptly

(58,785 posts)Lol. Beckel obviously considers that at least won't work this time. Hillary of course should challenge him as the coward and pathetic excuse for a man he really is, but like a statesman who is a lady. No game for amateurs.

(7,812 posts)he has screwed over -- workers he's stiffed, students he's bilked, reporters he has slimed, women he's insulted, donors whose money he gives back to himself, tenants he has discriminated against, investors he has ripped off through bankruptcy, plaintiffs who Trump lawyers have done 'disgusting' things to -- are all Americans.
Who has screwed over more Americans than Trump? Bernie Maddoff? Wells Fargo CEO? He's spent his life getting over on his fellow Americans and now he claims he puts them first? She needs to put him in that kind of company....

Rule Number Two: Act like Trump isn't even on the stage, because he is already irrelevant.
Rule Number Three: The most important thing in every debate is the individual viewer. F*** Trump, talk to the person watching.

(7,812 posts)where on earth to christian conservatives get the impression that he follows any christian principles? Journalists and pundits don't really seem to be willing to ask questions like that, and HRC probably has to be careful too, but when can someone shed some light on this? Which candidate has led a life more compatible with teachings of the bible?
Potentially a game changer if the pitfalls can be avoided. Should be a major conflict with religious Trump supporters, I would think (you have to credit Utah for seeing through Trump a bit more than usual). Should be up to surrogates I guess, so let's get on with it.

(11,631 posts)Stick to her strengths which is policy and let him demonstrate his ignorance. Granted a large part of the electorate will choose based on personalities, but he is obnoxious enough that he can turn off quite a few less policy oriented voters on his own.

(58,647 posts)as any editor/director will tell you, show, don't tell. Stick to the issues, then sort of off-handedly point out "Unlike you, I have actually done these things, Mr Trump."
She won't have to be condescending to talk down to him. Always call him "Mr Trump" and talk directly to him only when it cannot be avoided. Otherwise, talk to the audience. Essentially be dismissive without actually talking down to him.
Don't get down in the gutter with him. I assume there will be plenty of chances to do the "There you go again" line against Trump.
