The problem is--with our violent history--we have not evolved. Way too many people in this country think the
way Trump does.

I will never forget the moment I came home from school in 1963 and asked my mother and grandmother--who was visiting us--
if they had heard what happened. They hadn't. When I told them "President Kennedy has been assassinated." My mother said,
"It's about time."

WTF? That was the moment--I was 12--when I knew I was not like my mother and NEVER wanted to be like her. From then on--until
the day she died when I was almost 50--we never got along. My parents were die-hard Republicans. My brother is a Republican
and one of his sons has said his dad is planning to vote for Trump!

There are way too many people in this country who will never criticize Trump for suggesting what he has because they agree. They are my mother.
