YES! They just said on MSNBC that there will be NO

applause, cheers or booing during the debate on Monday! That will NOT be helpful to Trump. Any nasty, ignorant thing that comes out of his pie-hole will just hang in the air to stink up the place. Also, repeating empty phrases and yelling "Believe me" etc. won't evoke any cheering from his stupid supporters....unless, of course, his supporters have been told to ignore the rules and turn it into a rally...sh**...I wish I hadn't thought of that.

They should have people doing a flying trapeze act overhead and peanut & cotton candy sellers walking through the set hawking their goods.

I am beyond flabbergasted that it has come to this. That so many Americans a planning to vote for such a cretin as Trump. I am mortified.

Trump might have supporters on Long Island, but he doesn't have an organization on the ground. I haven't been able to find any Trump or RNC sponsored events taking place on LI on Monday.

I wouldn't worry about locals tilting the mix. The tickets aren't given out that way.

Better to have no audience at all. Just the candidates, a moderator, and whatever other people are needed to operate cameras and so on.

Oh, and the primary debates should likewise be without audience.

relevant to the presidency
