Just to Cheer You Up... Glenn Beck is having a bad day!!

Loyal staffers and longtime fans of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) were shocked and betrayed Friday afternoon, when Cruz endorsed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

“Profoundly sad day for me,” conservative news host Glenn Beck wrote in a rambling post on Facebook. “Disappointment does not begin to describe my feelings. Maybe it is time to go to the mountains for a while.”

Go to Nepal. Go to a Buddhist monastery and hang out with the lamas. Learn a little something about compassion.

After all, it's climate change that's the fiction, in Beck's eyes.

This isn't good news for us, though I still think she'll defeat him.

How you endorse a man who called your wife ugly and your father a murderer is beyond me. Cruz is lacking all dignity. It is beneath the dignity of an ordinary person to make nice with somebody who has mistreated you so thoroughly without apology. Trump has never publicly apologized for his bizarre and noxious attacks on Cruz's family. How do you look your wife in the face after that?

...which was the last trick in his bag.

When Trump loses, Cruz will take up the armor of the fallen and beloved hero, and continue the quest.

He only has to play along for a month.

Did you notice that immediately after the Senate left IANA out of the CR, he endorsed Trump? The headline is "Cruz Endorses Trump" not "Cruz loses his bullshit crusade."

The alt-right hate his guts and so do the establishment GOP. No moral spine whatsoever.

Cruz's former comms guy, @rickwtyler, to me just now: "It's mourning in America for conservatives. We lost our leader today."
