Step-stool podium reportedly on Hillary Clinton's short list

Hillary Clinton was denied a step stool to close her height gap with Donald Trump for Monday’s debate, according to the Drudge Report.

Clinton is about five-feet, six-inches, while Trump towers over her at six-feet, two-inches.

But the Commission on Presidential Debates turned down the Clinton campaign’s request for the former secretary of state to stand atop a step stool so she would appear taller, according to the Drudge Report.

Instead, the commission is allowing the campaigns to construct custom podiums.

From 5'4" to 5'7"

I understand why she wants to be perceived as taller; for some reason taller = better to a lot of the American public, particularly taller men. It shouldn't make any difference but unfortunately to some short-sighted (sorry!) people, it does.

She should just wear higher heels. Either way, I don't see it making a huge difference; she has a towering brain!
