apprehension: the anxiety or fear that something bad or unpleasant will happen

The something is trump; he's already happened which is bad enough. IMNSHO he is a black hole in the world of economics and investment. Money goes in and never comes out. Investment, acquisitions and capital yield nothing but growing personal wealth, a lengthening sting of bankruptcies and an ego that grows like Pinocchio's nose.

My prime concern about the debates is that our party will focus on the goal of overcoming voter apathy in the short soundbites broadcast there. Voter apathy is manifested most among those who won't vote and will neither watch nor read about the debates.

A vote for HRC should be a vote toward for progressive goals. Take the opportunity to speak with others about those goals. Get behind them and let people know why. If Hillary is the tip of the spear, then we are weight that gives it momentum. If you have an issue about which you are passionate, this is the time to make it known. Make it known to those who you judge are most apathetic.

My motivation: people generally have a reason for doing what they do. It is said that if you can't find someone or something to vote for, find someone or something to vote against. That sounds fine but I see that as only working for those who WILL VOTE. Apathy will require a reason to get up off its ass and walk to the polls.

The GOP (great orange plague) can do nothing but suppress the motivation among the apathetic to vote.
