Question about the debate set-up

Will they each have a set number of minutes to answer questions without interruption; or will there be back-and-forth debate between the candidates and freedom to interrupt and speak over each other?

I hope it's the former, of course.

But I'm sure Don will disregard that. Usually I think it's timed statement-rebuttal-response. It rarely goes that way.

That's IF he doesn't have plants there to turn it into an episode of "Springer".

Imagine "Friends" without a laugh track (which is on YouTube).

4. Per the Commission on Presidential Debates:
Sat Sep 24, 2016, 06:29 PM
Sep 2016
First presidential debate (September 26, 2016, Wright State University, Dayton, OH)

The debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate.

The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

5. Except they've changed the location: Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY

Someone else on DU mentioned that there was some problem with security at the original selection. Hofstra was used in the past, is more convenient to New York, and closer to the airports.
