CNN/ORC has Trump winning whites by 8% in PA and 4% in CO. Romney lost both of those states by over 5%. Those states are even less white today than they were in 2012.

(50,986 posts)demonstrably encouraging statistics, suggesting that Clinton-Kaine will prevail in those two swing states, and also because it reminds us to keep our bearings strong when we step into the voting booth. We know why we vote the way we do.
Romney was an abominable excuse for a public servant. He was anti-labor. He was dismissive of Barack Obama, believing himself to be superior to the president, and -- according to several reports -- believed he would win the presidency until about 9:30 p.m. Eastern on election night. Trump may be an arrogant narcissist, but I'm not sure he's more of one than Romney.
I personally did not like the accounts of incidents at Romney's private boarding school in Michigan in which he allegedly tormented another student. Those of use who like human beings and those of us who like dogs were understandably uneasy about the prospect of Mitt Romney inhabiting the Oval Office.

The electorate will most likely be very close to 2004. They used homophobia to get their hordes of bigots to the polls in 2004, they're using racism in 2016.
Our voters just aren't as motivated, especially the selfie-takers.
