Nope. Not going to watch the debate. No way.

I already know I'm voting for Hillary, so I don't need to know anything more about either candidate. So instead of wasting my time raising my blood pressure and getting aggravated over Trump's nonsense, I'm going to leave the TV off and curl up with a hot cup of tea and good book, and catch the summaries here on DU tomorrow.

Ta ta for now. See you tomorrow morning.

There are millions of people who follow politics hardly at all yet feel obligated to vote in presidential elections. They use the debates, particularly the first debate, to help them make up their minds.
As crazy as it sounds, there are voters who select their candidate primarily on looks, gender, ethnicity, race, first or last names, religion, and/or gut-feeling, not issues. There is even research showing that the top name on a ballot can get more votes. That's why many states use a lottery for ballot placement.
I remember when Paula Jones of the Bill Clinton sexual harrassment lawsuit was asked about her political party affiliation; she responded, "now when you say 'Republicans,' are they the good ones or the bad ones?" Paula is not alone.
Scary.

Then come home, let both our dogs outside for a bit, and go to bed. Hope the puppy behaves better than Trump! I know he's smarter.
