Why do they apparently require the Candidates to stand?

For an entire 90 minutes under a microscope.... Hillary is doing it in Heels! I think this is abusive without a logical rationale...

Does anybody know why the agonizing standing requirement?

P.S. Of course, HRC isn't required to wear HIGH heels.

attend a Hillary Clinton Rally...she wears low heels...I myself would demand gym shoes!

It's been that way for 40 years. Why change? There is no reason at all. They both are running for president like all the others before them.
