2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumPlease help in the online polls its important!
Iv literally been going to site to site and it seems like an uphill battle. I know we all saw the same debate and there is no question hillary won. But optics in this election is very important. Believe it, theres going to be a lot of people who might go to time.com or slate. or cnbc or any of these major sites and seeing trump winning the debate 60-40 70-30 in trumps favour is going to make it seem like he won the debate.
and you know damn well that fucker is going to boast about it all over hes twitter. Yes online polls are scientific but time.com has almost 1 million votes. That is a shit ton of people. Please post any poll that you see to all supporters so that we can win this battle online.
I know it seems petty but i refuse to give an inch to this idiot. We have to win every battle. Any poll that allows me to vote multiple times i do it. The important part for me is that independent poeple or poeple who are only tuning see that we are pushing back.

(198 posts)i have gotten to obessesed. like its bad. For example this morning i woke up to a few bad polls and i honestly couldnt eat my breakfast as it got me down and nervous. ( i dont eat when i get nervous) then later in the day i saw a several good clinton polls and my mood changed. i guess its not healthy..
but its sickening to see hillary losing on slate or time.com these are not druge type websites who the hell are these people? time.com is almost 1 million votes. Thats not a amatuer website where someone set up a poll and had all hes friends and family vote on it. 1 million people is a shit ton of people in this country. how can so many people be so damn stupid?
Yeah, online polls are suuuuper unreliable. And sometimes they get flooded by righties.
I poll watch a bit, but I look for trends over weeks from multiple, reliable sources. I just can't take the emotional up-and-down to follow every word, like you say.
I'd work on that, however you can. Things that relax you maybe... or a stiff drink
I really don't think undecideds are swayed by those web polls. Most probably never even see them. I don't think it's a factor. Just my opinion

(14,853 posts)It's also not a secret that Russia and others have hired online trolls trying to influence public opinion. It will probably get worse with artificial intelligence bots in the future, so take it with a grain of salt.

(198 posts)i think you might be right about the russian thing. i really suspect that these online polls are easily manulipated and i think if not the russians then some hackers that appose hillary are helping trump. i obvously dont have proof but theres no way he should be losing on msnbc.com website. that place is the anti christ for most cons
