Do you really want to be friends with racist bigots that despise women or anybody else that doesn't look like they do?

that are not very political.
They just always have voted for the R passed down from generations.
This way, they never have to be bothered with politics.
I never discuss politics with them because the friendships would end.

Arguing with Trumpkins is like mud wrestling with a pig: you get all dirty, and the pig likes it.

I have one wingnut who constantly posts alt-right comments. My friends and I refuse to engage with him. Usually I find a reputable source and make another post. Facts drive them even more crazy. Have some fun with it. Plus you never know how many persuadable people you are reaching.

Of telling people on my friends list that if they supported Trump, then they should unfriend me at once. Boy, did that start a shit storm.

They are too far gone to listen to reason. A lot of them are motivated by racist beliefs and a sheer hatred for Hillary. The fact that Trump's policies would hurt them doesn't matter. Then again most repugs support people that openly say they would screw them.

from someone I've known for over 20 years. I worked with her, now she works with my daughter and I can't stand the things she is posting. I've been posting a Wikipedia article listing Hillary's awards and honors when someone posts about her reputation. I just posted to one of her comments how much the stupid Benghazi hearings cost and noted a that new local school building just about cost the same. Then I turned off getting notifications from her. Then I went through my list of FB friends and made sure I won't see any repug idiot comments.

I'll keep posting the article from Wikipedia. I would rather support my candidate than try to point out the numerous failings of Trump and any other conservative p-o-s.

I'm glad I saw this, because it is exactly what I was wondering. Love the comments

didn't even watch the debate and still insists that Trump won based on what he heard from online polls that were brigaded by deplorables. Like his God Emperor, he lives in his own reality.

I really think that is where he is vulnerable with his supporters. Most of his supporters are hard working blue collar workers. Some either do or dream of working for themselves. Cheating hard working laborers out of what they earn and deserve is a bad, bad thing. I think Hillary needs to hammer that angle hardcore from now until election day.

Depends on what you mean by engage. Tearing them a new one probably won't be very productive other than making you feel better. If that's all you want to do, go for it.

Otherwise I would suggest a subtler strategy of giving them little bites of Bad Trump and then a snippet of good Clinton with appropriate links. Follow with some light comments if the opportunity presents itself. That's it.
