Reports say in the first 25 minutes he interrupted her 26 times.

So why are any pundits claiming that he did well in the beginning, and only afterwards things fell apart?

I doubt that he gained many new WOMEN voters in that first third of the debate.

I found myself clapping the second he dismissed profiting off the millions of people who lost their homes during the housing crisis. That wasn't a good look for him.

In my view he didn't do well at the beginning, but he fell apart as the debate wore on.
