Hillary This Is What Must Be Done

1) Advertise where the Undecided voters are, not the High Information committed voters. I have seen a lot of Ads for Hillary on politico and similar sites. I have seen none on sites like "Publishers Clearing House" (PCH) which runs contests and sweepstakes and attracts a lot of low information voters or similar sites. However, I see a lot of Donald Trump ads on these sites.

2) Tell people WHY they should vote for you, in your ads. The "I'm with her" ads are useless in this light. You need to convince the uncommitted voter to vote for you. This must be done out of self-interest, not because it is a club that you want to belong and give money to. There is no reason why anyone should support you. Your ads should say "This is how Hillary can help make your life better." Link to a page which lists short statements of how she can improve life for the average person. (It can also include the sign-up sheet to join the campaign.)

3) Tell people that you recognize that they want change, but they want change in the right direction. Trump is an oligarch, and the people who advise him and his cabinet will be composed of oligarchs such as Carl Icahn, the ruthless "corporate raider"who engaged in asset stripping. Unlike Trump, some of your key advisors will be Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and other progressives like them. You pledge to take unlimited money out of politics, thru appointing justices to the Supreme Court who will overturn Citizen United. You will also end the revolving door between the public sector and private sector, with at least five years between employment in government and the companies they regulated, oversaw or they worked for.

4) That any conflict that lasts more then six (?) months will require a declaration of war. No more endless undeclared wars.

But when you click on the "I'm with her" you do not go to the HillaryClintonSupporter.com site. I am worried about the low information voters she is missing and Trump is getting. There is no reason in the world that he should be within six points of her.

http://hillaryclintonsupporters.com/ is not part of the Hillary campaign. http://hillaryclintonsupporters.com/ is a private website for Hillary Clinton Supporters. I am the administrator & owner of the domain name hillaryclintonsupporters.com

I have run the site for over a year to bring Hillary supporters together during the contentious primaries where they had a safe place to share & talk to like minded people. After the primaries several of the members asked me to keep the forum open for them and I have done so.

For transparency, I am not paid, receive gifts nor do I get special favors from the Hillary campaign, the Clinton Foundation or the Clinton Family.

P.S. If you have visited my website, I hope you enjoyed your stay.

The ads I clicked on took me to the official site. But I have now visited your site and feel it is a better site than the official site.

She came right out and did it. Then I woke up, it was a nice dream of me being a better candidate than she ever will be. But it was in the end my inflated ego and not really relevant to a seasoned and expert candidate like she is.

Smart campaigns know how to infuse apolitical spheres of society with their candidate's message. We live in an infotainment reality where there the line between the news, politics and entertainment is blurred. Trump is a moron but he gets this intuitively.

Agree also that alot of people don't get what her message is, or what the difference between a Republican or a Democrat is. Many of these people are millennials, independents, apoliticals, etc who voted for Obama, but who are leaning for 3rd party or even Trump. She needs to reach these people by delivering a more concise, clear, bullet point type message, then hammer at it so they understand.

Points 3 and 4 really only appeal to the left and she has spoken about those issues extensively, especially during the primary. She is committed to overturning Citizens United. All 4 liberals on the court voted against it, including Ginsberg and Breyer, who were appointed by Bill Clinton. So I don't know why anyone would doubt Hillary's committment to this issue. Also recently in the CiC forum she was emphatic about not sending any ground troops to fight ISIS, or getting drawn into any more conflicts in the Middle East.

So glad you joined this site to TELL Hillary what she must do. Mansplain much? Thanks, she has got this.

Perhaps you should start listening to what she is saying and not what the RW media is saying.

TIA!

Four years ago under the name VIguy007, I posted an Opinion Piece titled "For the first time in my life, I will be voting against a Republican candidate for president." It received 115,736 views on this site and 276 recommendations http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021135316

I say this only so that you know where I am coming from. For most of my life, I was an east coast moderate Rockefeller Republican. I am now a Democrat, but I see some things a little differently from most of you. In 1975 while a student at Columbia University I wrote a paper titled "Political Alienation in Contemporary America". Two of my professors expanded it into a book which was published by St Martin's Press. As far as I know, it is still the only empirical study of Political Alienation ever done. I have run 17 local political campaigns, often for the underdog, and won each one. That is why I feel that I had something useful to offer.

My first two suggestions are tactical, just a slight adjustment. The third deals the main attraction that Donald Trump offers, shaking up the government and making it more responsive to the people. Ending Political Alienation, which is something both Bernie and Trump supporters have in common. The fourth point is an easy to understand "bone" for the anti-war elements which she still has not been able to attract to her.

Hillary needs to pivot slightly to explaining what she can do for this country. She needs to express why voting for her is America's best hope for the future.
