How will hurricane Matthew effect the election?

I think its going to help Clinton. After the hurricane goes through Hillary can make the case how she will help them rebuild if elected president. This could solidify FL, NC, and VA (VA is really already a done deal). This will help Clinton.

My only sister lives near the coast. As does my nephew. I hope it doesn't hit land.

One of the many missteps of McCrory was to take 500k from emergency hurricane funds to defend HB2. If we have a hurricane and no funds to take care of it, it will be a problem for the GOP.

for those affected by it. Clearly. There will be no material difference between them in that regard. Thus, it will not really affect the election.

OK, not a proper subject for a pun this early.

Plus people have already died in this storm.

on election day turnout may be a bit lower. I'm not sure I know who that would affect more - trump or clinton.

It may eat up a week or 2 of the news cycle which trump seemingly cant afford to lose when hes 4 pts down with 4 wks to go.
