Are Republicans trying to blame the annexation of Crimea on Clinton? (Original Post) NoGoodNamesLeft Oct 2016 OP
Sure, why not. They don't need no stinking facts. Hekate Oct 2016 #1

These are people who have no concept of history, or even a simple timeline of events.

My 8th grade social studies teacher stressed to us that we needed to know in what order events occurred. It was even better to know exactly when, but something as basic as the Civil War happened before the Spanish-American War was a huge start.

And too many people are profoundly ignorant of any of this.

there is a certain logic in it, as every new President does inherit stuff from the previous President.

It's the sheer, breath-taking ignorance at saying Obama is responsible for 9/11 that worries me. That degree of unknowing means that the person is going to be extremely ignorant about lots of other things, some of which don't matter a lot, but others which do. It's people who really cannot tell fact from fiction. People who will immediately repost some (what should be) obvious piece of nonsense on FB or elsewhere. People who don't quite understand that fiction is just that, fiction. Think "The DaVinci Code". That was not a telling of actual history, but a novel that a lot of people liked, But thought was true.

And so it goes.

Republicans are still blaming Obama for invading Iraq. When Hillary steps into his place, the blaming will continue without interruption because the vast majority of Republican voters are simply too ignorant to know any better.

I'm like, whaaaaaa-t?

That probably plays well for their 26% low information type, but the rest of us were thinking, WTF? Is Donald that completely clueless too?
