Joy Reid is formidable. She is the heir apparent at MSNBC.

Better than all of them.

3. I love her, but there was a time many of us thought that MSNBC had become a place for us,

Like fox was a place for the uninformed. We have a few hold overs, but our voices have never controlled anything in corporate media for very long. Nothing has been about what what we want in the long run.

6. That was during a time when it appeared that MSNBC anchors were forced to play nice.

Very frustrating time, I stopped watching MSNBC for a while.

7. tweety consistently interrupts Joy

He constantly talks over her. Tweety's misogyny is hard to corral apparently. Even though he claims to be progressive.

8. ai honestly don't think Tweety pick and chooses who he's going to talk over.

He talks over EVERYONE! It's not just Joy or just women. That's his style and he won't change.

9. No, he let's the wingnut blondes have free range.

Coulter for years, but especially recently Kellyanne Con-job. He doesn't challenge her on any of her b.s., or at the most, just lightly. Does not interrupt, does not follow up. You'd think they have something on him. Hmmmm....

11. LOVE Joy Reid! I've noticed lately her smile (and looks) are wider and more glowing every day.

Quite an attractive look on her. It's like the glow and sparkle one has in the early stages of falling in love.

15. She punctured a right-wing gas bag

The white haired right winger who is showing up on MSNBC lately was on her show. He made some unfavorable Hillary quote. She immediately asked him where he got this information. He told her he heard it on a right winger show. She scolded him and told him not to quote something as fact unless he had real facts to back it up.

She is so skillful when she shoots down the trump surrogates who start rambling about Hillary's bad points, she steers them back to the subject and that shuts them up

17. Me too.

Someone in prime time would have to go to make room for her. That's the problem. So MSNBC is giving her air time on the Hayes, Rachel and Lawrence shows and I expect those appearance will increase. That's about all they can do short of letting one go.
