Mentioning she criticized POTUS on trade, she opposed Keystone Pipeline, she recognized Sanders' appeal to young voters, Chelsea was apparently trying to clean up and untangle some potential conflicts of interest, blurred lines between campaign people, Bill Clinton staffers and the Clinton Foundation

None of this appears to be derogatory or worthy of a response from Madame President.

Yes, she is a politician. Yes, to fry an egg, you have to crack a few shells. So freaking what. Her behind-the-scenes machinations are not actionable or deplorable.

Looking into Trump's Russian ties, though....that's where this needs to lead.
