http://apps.washingtonpost.com/g/page/politics/washington-post-abc-news-national-poll-oct-10-13-2016/2102/ - page 24So this basically means that many trump supporters believe that he's sexually assaulted women, but don't think it's a big deal.

(1,060 posts)Skewed sample. The facts of this poll don't fully support this conclusion (4%)
Though it does support the fact
That most of GOP are really deplorable
qdouble
(891 posts)that many of his supporters believe he's an unrepentant pussy grabber, but will still vote for him.

(891 posts)55% Think Trump's treatment of women is a legitimate issue.
Only 30% Think Bill Clinton's treatment of women is a legitimate issue, 67% do not.
This basically means that only Clinton haters care about his attempts to smear Hillary by attacking Bill

(31,483 posts)Even if the accusations are false (I think they are probably true), he made those disgusting statements and admits it. How any woman looks at a man like that and still sees him as a person fit to be President just astounds me.

(891 posts)Like he said, he could shoot someone and not lose his core supporters.

(518 posts)The 4% lead depends on the voter model used in determining the poll results.
Being that early voting has shown the possibility of a higher turn-out by Dems than first expected. Plus new polls show there is lower enthusiasm to vote on the Gop side than the Dems.
Shouldn't these factors change the model, thus the 4% lead is somewhat a depressed number, compared to reality?
Plus, the 4% is a National Average!

(518 posts)I know it is being report that the groping claims are having minimum effects. But, I have been part of the GOTV efforts here in Michigan and those I have been talking to are very sickened about it all.
I have been very active in the GOTV operation for the lats 5 election cycles, there is very little defense for Trump.
There is fear over the fall-out of Trump losing. My reply is always, the larger his defeat, the less the fall-out will be. We as American must send a message, with our vote, that Trump's word and his supporters actions are not acceptable. We must vote and send the message, "Enough is Enough!"

(891 posts)I don't thin that winning is enough. He needs to be annihilated, as his message is so poisonous to this country.

(8,976 posts)even though Trump is the most deplorable candidate in history, the Clinton side has failed to effectively deal with the Trump/Republican campaign to smear Clinton on the issue of trust.

mythology
(9,527 posts)People believe he has made unwanted passes/comments, but the bragging about groping wasn't true. In that scenario he may be a run of the mill sexual harasser which is bad, but a step down from committing sexual assault. Depending on where/how you heard about the tapes and one's preexisting stances on things like sexual harassment/assault, the sexual assault aspect may not be as clear in some people's mind as it should be.

(68,868 posts)is a legit issue but only 33% think Trump's are.
About 1/3 of Republicans have an actual sense of decency and logic. The other 2/3 are completely irredeemable.

(518 posts)They will support a Heaping pile of Crap, as long as it has a "R" next to it!!
And in this election, it seems they are doing just that!
