Ivanka Trump Breaks Silence On Dad's 'Offensive' Groping Comments

Ivanka Trump finally broke her silence about predatory comments her father made on a leaked hot mic tape from 2005, calling those remarks "inappropriate and offensive" in a statement to Fast Company.

Trump issued a one-sentence statement after being interviewed by the magazine for a story published Monday about the stress of the media attention during the election.

"My father's comments were clearly inappropriate and offensive and I'm glad that he acknowledged this fact with an immediate apology to my family and the American people," she said.

It was more him saying it was words that were not matched by actions -- and then dismissed as "locker room" talk - implying that it was not out of line EVEN IN A REAL LOCKER ROOM. (which this wasn't - it was a work place!)

Not to mention it was her dad's inappropriate comments about her that led to the surrogate wife comments - inappropriate as they are.

18. I Don't Know Ivanka,

but I think she's in a tough spot. He is her father. She's been dealing with him her whole life. He's running for President. She isn't going to trash him in public. Yet she is called upon to say SOMETHING. Sure, she is waaaay privileged, but she's still a human being and the daughter of someone who has shown himself in public to be rather heinous, although certainly not as bad is it gets. I don't envy her position one bit.
