We are in the offensive now

Look up CNN's homepage. The top story reads "Comey sent letter anyway", where it is explained that the Attorney General to Comey not to send the letter to Congress about Hillary's emails.

At this point we are in the offensive, Clinton should stay in the offensive, and we should stay in the offensive against Republican renegade James Comey, who has joined forces with House Republicans to get Republican Donald Trump elected.

People are sticking their heads in the sand if the thing this is not an issue.

Rs are running around screaming complete bullshit and the media is running with it.

The only SIMPLE way to take command of the discussion is to go after Comey.

FURTHER, it is justified, he went rogue on a partisan attack from a position that this should not occur from.

Republicans go to move in situations where they actually do something wrong is to go after the person who is calling it out. In this case this Hillary literally did nothing ,much less nothing wrong and this ass hat is abusing his position for partisan reasons.

THERE IS DAMAGE FROM THIS, very possibly enough to cost the senate. You ignore it you let the Rs and their media whores make hay over it and take the full effect of it.

You go after Comey you have a simple redirect that the media might actually come on board with. And, again, are actually going after a for real POS.

10. Comey is not up for election. No amount of attacks on Comey will elect a Democratic candidate.

Continued attacks on Comey will keep the media focus on emails and Comey and emails and emails.

Yes, respond when emails or Comey are mentioned, but then pivot to the real targets. Particularly respond by saying that tRump and the Republicans are reading from a script written a long time ago without regard to reality, and then pivot to reality and realistic candidates (Democrats).

Again, this IS an issue that will effect 1) Hillaries margin 2) The opportunity to pick up the senate 3) the number of house seats they pick up.

if they don't aggressively go after Comey Rs will continue run around unchecked mischaraterizing this issue, the media will gleefully forward that bullshit and the damage done by it will be greater, likely costing the senate, cutting back on the number of house pickups and costing Hillary votes and possibly a state or two, narrowing the strength of her victory to point to when battling these asshats in the first rounds or two.

IF they aggressively go after Comey and make it about him, WHICH IT IS, the media will start to talk to that and the damage will be lessened, they might still have a shot at the senate, pick up a few more close house races and possibly get a little stronger win for Hillary than if they do what you suggest and don't go after him.

But, sure, act like it isn't an issue and let Rs run around spewing bullshit unfettered.

THAT won't be a problem.

Read my post again.

Then read this excerpt from your post.

The conclusion we both reach is to stop the Rs spewing bullshit. You don't do that by attacking Comey.

Attack the Republicans. For the Senate, for the House, for the State Legislatures.

to this e-mail crap but it's going to be all over MSM anyway.

I agree that they should go balls out on offense, call for Comey's resignation, push the DOJ and Obama to do something for gawds sake and have every secure DEM congress person yelling at the top of their lungs about how unfair and obviously partisan this whole bizz is.

Nobody has any real idea if there is something there or what it might be, if anything

Same with Benghanzi, and Rs have been milking these non issues for the entire cycle.

This IS going to be a hit.

They can either do nothing and take the full hit or do what you prescribed and try to take control of the narrative and blunt it.

But we should use this energy, and yes even our anger, to give the GOP a beat down they have not seen since Goldwater. Let's do everything in our power to humiliate Trump and his followers.
