Just heard Sen Leahy on msnbc. He stressed that Comey was a man of integrity but even so-he made a serious mistake and needs to clear up the mess.

(15,273 posts)Obama and company sure seem to have decided a hands-off approach and staying above the fray is the way to go. I'm really not sure why their political calculus is one of allowing Clinton to be pummeled 24/7 with no chance to defend herself. It sort of reminds of when the Nixon crew left AG Patrick Gray to twist lowly in the wind during Watergate.
