it's certainly more important that racism, sexism, unbelievable corruption, breathtaking dishonesty, rape, sexual assault and a complete lack of anything more than a surface knowledge of the issues...

Decision knowing allowing the election of DT would be very bad for the future of the GOP.

a woman say she didn't want to vote for Hillary Clinton because she was too well-spoken and too well-prepared. Those are literally the terms she used. WTF is that? My head almost exploded.

I consider myself an independent. Although Ms. Clinton might not have been my first choice for president, she is now the only reasonable choice. I don't think that Trump supporters realize all they will be giving up if Trump is elected. Some Trump supporters are misinformed and some just don't care. In contrast to Trump, Clinton at least is intelligent, articulate, and has a working knowledge and appreciation for the Constitution and the strengths of our democracy.

If Trump is elected, I foresee an unparalleled expansion of presidential powers, along with major encroachments upon free speech and freedom of the press, freedom of religion and assembly, due process, federal civil rights laws, and a deterioration of the rule of law in general. The economy won't fare any better under Trump. Economic improvements from the past 8 years will be reversed by more corporate welfare and laissez-faire economic policies, while many consumer protections will be dismantled. The only people that will be left better off after a Trump presidency will be Trump, his family, and his business affiliates.

But enough of "American Horror Story - Election 2016". Halloween is over, and it's time for America to tell Trump once and for all to put his political clown suit away, and go back to playing a man on carefully scripted reality TV.
