Quinnipiac Early Votes Polls: Clinton Crushing Trump

If Quinnipiac is correct, there are a lot of Republicans and Independents voting early for Clinton

<snip>Among voters who have already turned in their ballots in Ohio, Clinton leads by 26 points — 58 percent to 32 percent, according to the Quinnipiac poll. More than 1.2 million voters have already turned in their votes in Ohio, according to the data firm Catalist in conjunction with CNN.

In North Carolina, Clinton is also running roughshod over Trump in early voting results, according to Quinnipiac. The Democrat holds a 22-point early voting lead in that important state, Quinnipiac found, 58 percent to 36 percent.

In Florida — whose 29 electoral votes are along with New York’s 29 the third-most of any state — Clinton holds a smaller early voting lead, 48-42, a six-point margin in votes already cast, the Quinnipiac survey found. <snip>

and I find it hard to believe myself, that would mean that Republicans are enthusiastic voters, but their enthusiasm is for Hillary and against Trump.

I would guess there are very few traditional GOP voters who are voting a solid Dem ticket. Anybody who votes early is, by definition, at least somewhat enthusiastic.

And that is a YUUUUGE problem for Trump. He has no ground operation. If his supporters aren't out there voting early, a lot of them will end up sitting at home Tuesday drinking beer and cleaning their guns. I bet this ends up not being particularly close.

I quit paying attention to polls weeks ago. Too much angst. What matters more than the bet is the actual win. So GOTV for me. Action at this point is better for me than calculating odds. Looking at odds makes me want to hide. GOTV. I'm with Her.
