I'm curious about something. If there is a 0.3% spread in Michigan, why not an automatic recount?

Current MI Vote Total as of November 28 (Donald Trump leads by 10,704 votes)
Donald J. Trump (R) 2,279,543 (47.6%)

Hillary Clinton (D) 2,268,839 (47.3%)

1. Because in michigan the law says it has to be less than 2000 votes.

Not a percentage. Stupid but thats their current law.

2. Someone answered that for me

a couple of days ago.

The law in Michigan states that there is an automatic recount ONLY if there is a difference of 2000 or fewer votes. It doesn't go by percentages, as it does in Pennsylvania.

Wouldn't it be nice if there were a uniform standard that applies to ALL states?
