So do I......I hope he walks back some of his compromise concessions......Go back to the 250K threshold, for a start.....

This fiasco of a clusterfuck, needs to remain in the foreground of the National conscious, regardless of end results, right up to election day '14......

If the teabag shitsticks insist on driving stakes through their own hearts,we should absolutely help them.....

Boehner doesn't want to bring a deal to the floor that a majority of his caucus don't support. Maybe he'll wait till after the vote for Speaker in a few days and then do so.

Can be fixed retroactively. The tax hikes in particular. The biggest immediate concern IMO is UI extension. But cynically I don't know that Boehner would mind making the unemployed suffer if it helped him keep his speakership. Horrible to say, but I fear it's true.

Repubs in the House were dared to kill a bill for middle class tax cuts. Cantor and Boehner look craven and weak tonight, respectively. Repubs are going to be even more unpopular in the next few days.

How stupid Cantor and the tea partiers are. It is almost like they don't want to ever win the Presidency again.
And what do they expect once we go over the cliff?
To get a better deal?
Ha.

I hope the GOP hold it up. I'm about sick of the President caving! Somebody needed to hold it up.
What worries me is they've already figured out that he'll just cave in to meet their demands if they dig in their heels now.
This is the first negative thing I've had to say about President Obama in 5 years! But I'm quite tired of him giving in to Republican pressure, and reneging on his campaign promise. ENOUGH ALREADY!

Nancy Pelosi

✔@NancyPelosi Strong majority of House Ds support bipartisan Senate bill that passed 89-8. Confident it will pass if @SpeakerBoehner allows up/down vote.
