Republican Party Devoid Of A Soul–So Says Former Republican Presidential Candidate Jon Huntsman

realize that we need more revenue and spending cuts. Only then can we put our fiscal house in order. They need to work with the president on this. Cut out unnecessary spending --like in our military -- we need to strengthen social security and medicare and cut out the waste. We can do this but we have to work together and we can.

The Republicans ran on the platform "ZOMG THE DEBT!!!! 16 TRILLION AND RISING!!!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!". They thought they could simply frightening people into voting for them without having a cohesive plan other than to double down on hardcore Reaganomics, which is really just preaching to the choir. Only that choir has shrunk since the 1980s and is continuing to shrink, despite all the obnoxious noise they make.
