I know this is just TV, but godamnit... Goosebumps, I tell ya. Goosebumps.

Why can't we have a real-life high profile Republican with enough spine to say this, Jon Huntsman Jr.'s mini-rant notwithstanding?

One has to only look back at the McCarthy era, and more recently, the lemming-like press corps at the onset of the two Bush Wars.
