From Morning Joe this morning: "President Obama has yet to do anything about the deficit" (while, in the same breath, acknowledging that President Obama has implemented changes that saving $700 billion from Medicare).

If I recall from my 8th Grade Civics lessons, CONGRESS writes the laws, CONGRESS sets the spending limits, CONGRESS appropriates the funding ...

This is making me sick!

1. Major Media fails once again.... as both parties are advocating the wrong fiscal medicine....

Deficit reduction and austerity are exactly the WRONG medicine at this time... and is actually making the country sicker.

They need to step on the gas... not the brakes.. to increase employment and tax revenues. When people are working.. they are paying taxes.

Plus ...cutting back on America's world-wide wars would be a start. One can only imagine how $40 Billion per month spent at the local and State level would jump start the standard of living in the USA.

But alas... Morning Joe and the rest of MSM are brain dead and incapable of any real reporting.

These clowns who are getting paid good money to ... BE LEGISLATORS AND REPRESENT THEIR CONSTITUENTS ... just can't do their jobs because this President won't have them over for tea and crumpets. They get to run around saying their primary objective is to make him a one term president, and yell "YOU LIE" during the SOTU address, ect. ... But, it is all his fault.
