2. Um, Brakes. I hope we can stop the gun stuff, how about exchanging guns w/the populace for tasers?

I've opted for tasers/stun guns instead of guns. I camp with my kids and know that a taser or a small-calibre gun will just piss a bear off, or a panther. However, the sound emitted by a stungun is loud and willl chase must of them off. I do worry about human nuts, (live in the Houston area, at least one shooting per day, most days at least a murder - and this is TEXAS). I hate this place and wish I was back in Pensacola where at least the military presence kept the civilian violence down to an acceptable level. Would you go into a bar, mall, school, anywhere where you knew armed military members were present?

Where Jack Reacher said "all of my suspects were trained killers"?

Yah, Yah, Yahh, Guns don't kill people, Kill people, people people.

Guns just make it really easy.

A bullet should cost $5,000 - wanna cap someone's ass? Take out a second a mortgage to do so. seriously,

Long away and far away we used to just whup each other. We've raised a bunch of cowards. Time to teach them the real meaning of bravery and courage. There is no cowardice or 'losing' when one does not 'win'. Trying to win is all that counts. We all want to win, but some will lose. In the end, we all win for having tried.

6. $5000 per bullet was Chris Rock's idea too

So even if you get shot by a stray bullet, you wouldn't have to go to no doctor to get it taken out. Whoever shot you would take their bullet back, like "I believe you got my property.”

5. What I love best about this photo is that not one of these

very powerful and generally admirable individuals has any kind of gun anywhere near.

And Gabby Giffords in particular just blows me away!

May logic and reason prevail over the endless cycle of fear and ignorance!
