The poll is what it is. Gallup actually has Rmoney ahead.

Of course, we don't have a popular vote election for president and the latest state electoral college survey's puts Obama ahead.

I'm not surprised at the bump for Rmoney ... he tied-up the Repuglican nomination last week, so he is getting some momentum from Repuglicans starting to coalesce.

But Chris Matthews is still having that thrill up his leg for Obama, what are you complaining about?

...especially before the first debate.

I am curious about the PPP poll....I went to their website, and Realclearpolitics...found their march poll, Obama plus 4...couldn't find their newest poll.

IMHO, realclearpolitics is a good site, since it is an average of lots of polls, which are all over the map...which makes the conspiracy theories about the media keeping it close go away. The trends on RCP are instructive.

And, they show a narrowing gap. That gap will change, as each candidate gets a convention bounce, and the debates will have a large impact. This ride is just getting started.

Especially since you've had an entire primary season to bash him. And the campaign against you hasn't even started yet. The reality is most voters don't know anything about Mittens YET
