Am I on Common Dreams. Org?

Christ almighty, it seems that so many around here are now putting our President right up there with Bush and Chaney..Perhaps they consider themselves to be Humanistic Libertarians..

All I know, is the govt. collecting info from my cell phone, does not frighten me half as much as a
President Chris Christie does... Imagine that piece of crap being our President with the House, Senate and Supreme Court( with 2 additional Scalia type justices as replacements) all under right wing control?

That is what I call fucking scary...

I mentioned this in a previous post, that many people are now being helped by the flood of Medicaid
dollars being pumped in at the State and Federal level.. This has helped me immensely in my attempt to stave off steep financial problems..

Well one of the first things these shits would do is try to repeal Obamacare and that is a huge deal for me and millions of others..

So all you Humanistic Libertarians out there. Quit pinning all this shit on Obama because it will definitely be pinned to the Democratic Presidential Nominee..

And believe me, you can bet every right wing nut job plus any any moderate republican, teabagger, Fundamentalist, Xenophobic, homophobic asshole won’t wrap their arms along with Wall Street, Corporations and the Banks around Christi’s fat frame...You are living in another world..

President Chris Christie or Cruz or any of those other crazy bastards in the group being in charge of a government program collecting info from my cell phone or any other of my devices. And that is a real possibility in 2016 and it will happen sooner or later.

Anything that our current President gets pinned with will surely effect our next Presidential nomination.
For one freaKing second, could you possibly not imagine. Corporations, WallStreet and Republicans not
attaching at the hip any Dem Presidential nominee to Obama...

Like Democrats didn’t link McCain to Bush in the 2008...
Keep attacking Obama for the Electronic Surveillance program and our nominee will be spending a great deal of time defending the Democratic Party during the campaign season of 2016..

Give me a break..

The very same thing could happen as did in 2000 (I'm putting aside what happened in Florida). Whomever the nominee is doesn't want to be seen with the sitting president, which pushes down both enthusiasm among the base and fundraising. Having as many surrogates out there to campaign with the nominee is important.

I doubt that our nominee will ever consider a luke warm relationship with Obama. Obama is a good man who has been attacked as no other President has ever been.. He has accomplished a lot and is loved by his base.. This spying problem will hopefully be passed down the line and fixed completely by the next generation of progressives....In the meantime Obama’s base will be out there fighting the next Republican nominee who will be spewing lie after lie concerning Obama’s role in the surveillance
program..

Alternating OPs of how nasty everyone that doesn't agree with NSA programs with OPs calling those people names.

Well, at least Boehner is on your side. So I'll accept humanistic libertarian, a completely silly phrase if I've ever heard one, if you'll accept compassionate neoconservative, an equally silly phrase.

There's no such thing as a humanistic libertarian. Humanism and libertarianism are competing value systems. It's like having an invisible color or an odorless smell.

Besides whats so silly about a Libertarian who distrusts all aspects of govt. except for things he feels are worthwhile.. Like a freaking govt. run healthcare system which would enrich his financial world..
Hey I can see that...A guy who thinks govt. is synonymous with Big Brother no matter what the truth is.

10. I agree with your premise..

However the issue is, the storing of the collected data. While I support the President on many issues, what happens when he isn't President anymore? Do you think the next administration is going to give up this tool to silence dissent? Can you imagine a President Cruz or President Palin with this technology? We have seen over the years, the numerous abuses of the Patriot Act including the infiltration of peace/progressive groups by Law Enforcement for "National Security" purposes. We must be vigiliant in the defense of personal privacy.
