They reported on the cost of Obama's trip overseas on the local news.

Did they complain about the trips that GWB made overseas? I don't remember much of a squat about it back then.

Here are the Travels of President George W Bush Bush more likely to have made trips overseas that were not necessary and a waste.

Obama to visit Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will visit Senegal, South Africa and Tanzania from June 26 to July 3, the White House announced on Monday. The Obamas spent one emotionally charged day in Ghana in July 2009—the president's only other visit to sub-Saharan Africa since taking office.

"The president will reinforce the importance that the United States places on our deep and growing ties with countries in sub-Saharan Africa, including through expanding economic growth, investment, and trade; strengthening democratic institutions; and investing in the next generation of African leaders," press secretary Jay Carney said in a statement.

"The president will meet with a wide array of leaders from government, business, and civil society, including youth, to discuss our strategic partnerships on bilateral and global issues," Carney said, adding that "the trip will underscore the President’s commitment to broadening and deepening cooperation between the United States and the people of sub-Saharan Africa to advance regional and global peace and prosperity."

3. Some articles online that I've seen have been putting out misinformation...

They mention the estimated $60-$100 million cost of the trip and talk about the 'safari' but say nothing about the reason for the whole trip (the bi-lateral meetings in three countries) and don't mention that the cost is for the whole entire overseas trip.

When I saw the articles yesterday my first thought was that the right-wingers were going to be spewing misinformed outrage for the rest of the week

It makes me sick.

re-posted it. I noticed there were literally hundreds of brand new paid trolls on the websites rabble rousing. I spent a good portion of last night adding links for the purpose of the trip. I was so pissed. I'm sick of the right wing buying media and reporters. There are supposedly 500 business leaders going with him to try and do trade deals. These three countries are rich in natural resources, and China is already in there bribing people.

Here is an article from engineering news:

it's always THE WORST THING EVER!!!! It's hard not to feel like the media has it out for him, which makes me laugh whenever I hear teabaggers complain about the media being "in the tank" for him.

5. "Cost of Obama’s Trip is Dwarfed By George And Laura Bush’s Africa Spending Spree"
Sat Jun 15, 2013, 05:11 AM

As conservatives rage about the cost of Obama’s Africa trip, it is important to remember that George and Laura Bush made a combined 7 trips to Africa all on the taxpayers’ dime.

We’ve played this game before, but anytime the nation’s first black president spends more than a dollar, the right wing freaks out about Barack Obama “wasting taxpayer dollars.” Back in 2011, the right claimed that First Lady Obama’s Africa trip would cost taxpayers millions, but even if you use numbers that the White House disagrees with ($424,000), they weren’t even close.

It's the hypocrisy, assholes.

The rest of the world is spending time and money all over Africa it will become the new preferred place for cheap labor in the very near future.

I would not be surprised if Wal Mart has not already set up shop in Africa.

"They" at Fox and Frauds reported that Obama spent $200 million a day on some trip to India, too.

Just a little lacking in the fact category, which was never an obstacle for Fox Noise.

At least one of the local tv stations did, the one that has turned in to the local GOP station, KTVB, an NBC affiliate.

They just can't help themselves.
If they hear about any bad news about President Obama, they report it.
If it's news that could turn out to be bad for President Obama, they also report it.
They have turned into a local version of Faux Snooze more and more each year ever since 1998.
