I want you allow to get prepared. I know there have been upsets lately with the democratic party, but we can't afford to abandon it. We need to regain control of it. Vote in the primaries and and for office. Tell any democrats representing you to hear you out.

If we lose the senate majority, people like me, who are currently relying on the Affordable Care Act, will be without health insurance.

Please get ready to vote in all upcoming elections in 2013, 2014, and beyond. Democracy begins with you.

2. i feel as tho the movement is slightly lost...

you know, before..
here on DU atleast..
before we had a democratic president in office..
we seemed very focused and determined.. we had a goal.. we knew who the 'enemies' (so to speak) were...
now its confusion and disillusion... something most liberals should be used to by now when dealing with the democratic party of the last 30 years. I mean, lets really think about the extreme left in the 90s.. most of us were marginalized and pushed out. left some of us going 'oh whats the point'. GWB and all his crony illegal activity lit a fire under our butts tho.. and we all came together against our named foe..
I feel like that since of brotherhood/sisterhood is gone.. and we all have an issue we feel is important..
there is no focus.

we forgot what government was like before 9/11. we forgot the government was already hijacked by corporate interests.
we let our guard down.

I fear the liberal coalition if fading here in the states ..
having accomplished little but putting a moderate(right leaning by most peoples accounts) into office..
not that our other choice was a viable one.. nobody would ever suggest Romney would be doing a better job. I don't even want to imagine that world. lol.
