WTF MSNBC why are you discussing how the republicans can win in 2016 by giving them advice??????
I watched part of Up with Chris Kornacke this AM. He has this panel discussion on why the republicans were for immigration reform but now their media controllers realize that the voters will probably vote Democratic. They talked about possible ways the republicans could expand their white vote to still be in power. I was angry why are they giving the republicans ideas on how to improve their outreach to white people? We don't need MSNBC to do the job that Fox has been doing. I'm not going to record this program anymore. Just goes to show you how corporate MSNBC really is. Watch Ring of Fire instead on FSTV that is a real progressive voice who won't be shrilling for the corporate GOP.
The only ones being real on MSNBC is Melissa and Ed on the weekend shows. I haven't watched the Karen Finney show because I am burned out on politics by then. But this show UP really irked me this AM I guess we have to get used to white power politics come in fruition as the GOP strategy in 2014 and 2016. They'll be a lot of white hoods peeking out of white people's collars in the near future but something tells me it's not going to work for the GOP. A lot of our young voters grew up in a multicultural society and don't have the race hangups as their grandparents.

1. The Republicans are getting plenty of advice from other sources, too
Like right here at the DU.

2. No doubt
There are plenty of people here who would be as responsible as any puke for a loss either in 2014 or 2016.
If the same assholes stay home as did in 2010 it hands them an easy win in a Gerrymandered Congress. |

8. The answer to that is to get high turn out, this means get good candidates and
work hard at election time. 2010 we here in Oregon had record breaking midterm turnout. Places that didn't made poor choices or did not follow through and should attempt to do better next time.

3. Don't worry - Republicans don't watch MSNBC
and even if they did, they wouldn't take them seriously.

14. Yeah. MSNBC is just the "liberal" Fox News
![]() Still, why do news outlets spend any time giving any political party advice? That's not their job! Never see anybody give Democrats political advice. Never heard how Democrats could beat Bush/Cheney way back when? Or do they now assume that Democrats are more or less unbeatable now? ![]() |

4. Don't sweat the small stuff.
It's not like there are any Republicans UP to watch Chris Kornacke on a Sunday morning to begin with.

they're unlikely to take good advice.

10. And they wonder why MSNBC is in third place. They have been moving away from the Keith's and
Eds lately, and it shows in the ratings. Fox can blast away with an extreme right agenda, but those of us on the left can only have a moderate channel. It's the way they want it. All part of "creating" reality. imho
