Wexton wins Virginia state senate race-*****Update*****

http://www.leesburgtoday.com/news/wexton-takes-lead-early-in-senate-race/article_7ab274a4-82f7-11e3-98b4-001a4bcf887a.html

Democrat Jennifer Wexton defeated Republican John Whitbeck and Independent Joe T. May in today's special election of for the 33rd Senate District seat.

This race will likely determine whether Democrats or Republicans control the Virginia senate so it really matters more than most. Also are waiting for the recount results in another senate district where we lead by only 9 votes.

I have to take most all my political pleasure vicariously, since nobody much worth a damn can be elected here anymore.
