So far, President Obama has racked up a total of (?)* delegates.
* I am looking for a website that lists President Obama's total delegates that he was been awarded so far and I have not yet found one with the correct totals - CNN and Wikipedia ain't cuttin' it.
The total number of delegates needed to win the 2012 Democratic nomination is: 2,778

*Note: the delegate numbers there are 'total delegates', NOT the number of delegates awarded to Obama.
A link for the United States presidential election, 2012 SCHEDULE* : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2012_timeline#2012
*Note: some of those dates are incorrect
Does anyone have a LINK to a LIST of the total amount of delegates that President Obama has been awarded so far?

(36,974 posts)There is a chart of the GOP primary/caucus delegates located towards the top left of the front page : http://www.democraticconventionwatch.com/
and here's a list of the GOP super-delegates: http://www.democraticconventionwatch.com/diary/4726/republican-superdelegate-endorsement-list
and also there are many detailed articles posted there regarding the GOP primaries/caucuses,
and up to date info regarding the Democratic convention etc.
DCW is THE BEST at tracking delegates and super-delegates, I know first-hand because I was one of the folks there that helped to track them all down during the 2008 primaries - many political blogs and news agencies used them as a source in 2008.
They are tracking the Republican delegates THIS year - but not the Democratic ones

(62,269 posts)I'm not sure if it had Dem counts, though, but it had delegate histories going back for years. I think I shared it with you once before when showing the delegate breakdown in Iowa. I'll try to find it again.

(101,295 posts)for Obama (it's actually the source for the Wikipedia results).
Page listing available delegates for all states, with links for each state pledges: http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P12/D-Alloc.phtml
Example page from New Hampshire listing the delegates Obama won: http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P12/NH-D
(even lists the votes each write-in got. 2nd place went to Ron Paul, 3rd to Mitt Romney, 4th to Huntsman... Bachmann got 2 votes, and Cain 1!)
This confirms Obama has all 28 'soft pledged' delegates from NH; and 54 from Iowa, 36 from Nevada (uncontested caucus last Saturday), and 56 from South Carolina (uncontested primary next Saturday, so the website seems to have awarded all the delegates to him already).
