Operation American Spring really isn't a joking matter -

If we believe the official story, all it took was one guy with a mail order rifle to murder John Kennedy. If we believe the official story, all it took was one criminal with a rifle to murder Martin Luther King.

Numbers don't matter if the wrong person is in the right place at the right time.

Who was president when some guy drove a stepvan out to the Washington Monument and said it was full of explosives.

I seem to recall he went for something of a ride that day.

of Secret Service agents to paranoid "patriots" is about 10:1. This is possible due to the fact that they number in the dozens at best.

for the Capitol police and crowds. All it takes is one nutbar reaching a point of frustration and anger and deciding to take it out on one of the cops or someone walking by. Militia members have been caught plotting against police and minorities. One might snap and start shooting at the Capitol police or tourists. Some of them are very unstable people with paranoid fixations and spoiling for a fight.

I wouldn't worry about Obama and his family. The White House is a fortress. Like Jed Bartlet said, "If someone wants to kill me, they're gonna have to do it from inside the building."

was assassinated in a basement corridor of the Louisiana Capitol Building. When I was a toddler, my father raised me up to put my thumb in the hole in the granite wall the bullet made after it passed through him.
"Everybody in Louisiana knew" that the Federal Government had him killed, so that he couldn't "have himself made King after his two terms as President." "The People would have done well with him as King, but who would be the next King?", was a rationale that was bandied about a lot at the time
If the PTB feel sufficiently threatened by Obama, not that that's likely, he will be taken out.
IMO, the second clip is the reason he was assassinated. It can't become common knowledge that this country produces many times enough wealth to provide all of us with an incredible bounty, and the vast majority of it's been extorted, expropriated and outright stolen by the rentiers.

they're exceptional.

I can't think of a place in DC as a former resident I feel safer than the US Capitol. These are the people we entrust to protect the seat of our Democracy, the location where the VP, Speaker and House and Senate leadership spend a huge chunk of their time. They're the best at what they do.

Yes, it only takes one nutbar...but they drill in anticipation for him/her constantly. The US Capitol is the epitome of a hard-target; they know it's coming and they prepare for it daily.

from the Bundy Ranch Bullshit to the canyon ride through to this, I see a lot of gun-toting nuts just aching for that first shot to be fired. The idiots think it'll be the next "Shot Heard Round the World." The potential for violence is far too great for my comfort, which is what they seem to want, I guess. They're obviously scared shitless and want the rest of us to feel the same, even if they're afraid of the wrong folks.

I don't mean this to be a diss on all gun owners, but I'm pretty sure most of the idiots out there on these little 'protest' operations are not in the category of what I'd call responsible gun owners.
