Conservative Groups Move To Kill GOP's Highway Trust Fund Bill, But Republicans Aren't Nervous

WASHINGTON -- The last likely opportunity for Congress to avoid completely draining the nation’s highway budget will present itself on Tuesday afternoon.

Though a Republican proposal to temporarily extend the Highway Trust Fund gained notable opposition Monday from two powerful conservative groups, leaders from both parties expressed optimism that the extension would pass.

1. If they don't do something soon...

projects in the works, projects nearing completion will grind to a halt as the payments stop.

4. Selfish Conservative Fucks Think

They can just pull up their drawbridges and let America turn into a third world country. Well - unless they happen to have a self contained fully functioning hospital, a self sustaining farm, and a power plant they are in for a rude surprise.

5. I THINK IT IS TIME WE TAKE TO THE STREETS. Million people march. We are mad as hell.

All I can say is JOBS, JOBS, JOBS...

"I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!" A clip from the 1976 movie, Network. Even though this movie was made over 30 years ago, it almost sounds like the anchor is talking about our current situation in the world today. Just a reminder that we all need to WAKE UP and take action

7. Republicans don't seem to care about American jobs or our infrastructure.

yet they will spend a lot of money on their 5 months of paid vacation, their designer clothing, face lifts, spray tans and jet transportation (paid for by Americans)

Worse Congress in history! America would be MUCH better off if republican positions were left vacant.
