Dems Launch Six-Figure Ad Campaign Attacking Nikki Haley
The Democratic Governors Association is going on the attack against South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) with a six-figure TV ad campaign accusing her of putting her career ahead of children's lives, the DGA told TPM.
The 30-second ad features a former staff attorney for the Department of Social Services, named Betsy Burton, saying she quit her job after decades "because we actually were leaving children in dangerous situations to make the numbers look better."
"That really disturbed my conscience and I did not wish to be a part of that," Burton says in the ad. "Nikki Haley is protecting her career instead of our children."
The ads will begin to run on Wednesday, the DGA said. The DGA referenced local reports about the Haley administration "covering up systemic problems" and using "misleading numbers" at the Department of Social Services.

(185 posts)What is happening at the VA is going on in private hospitals. Doctors that have admitting privileges must honor that hospital policies, and minimizing medicare patient costs is one of the major policies.
How do doctors get around it? They don't write in your medical file your real symptoms, they falsify your conditions, and then diagnose you as "anxiety" patient.. dismissed!
They write a script for anxiety med, and save the hospital $$$$ from having to treat your real condition. I cleared 9 hurdles (md's) to get to a real doctor and real treatment that started a quick recovery.
Haley is the same. Quite honestly, most every politician is doing it to a degree. Republicans just max it out.
