The 2014 midterm elections are just around the corner.

How many hours are you going to spend this summer or fall at DU arguing that Hillary is better for America than Elizabeth in 2016, or vice versa.

Carpe diem does not mean peer in to the crystal ball and tell me what is going to happen in 2½ years.

Just tell me what is going to happen in another 108 days!

is barely holding on to the Senate ...

Rs turn out on average and they are doing the usual "good" work of endless anger stirring to keep their drones in the chute to turn out on election day.

Democrats ... As we see here, in Democratic Underground, enough on the margins disaffected will not show up like they should, energy not anywhere CLOSE to the kind of energy that is needed for democratic gains.

The numbnuts "in the middle" are breaking on average more so to republican bullshit or "they are all the same" than tuning in and voting with their brains.

For me at least, getting excited about Warren gets me excited for politics overall. Candidates like Grimes and Tennant aren't perfect but seeing Warren campaign for them makes me interested in those races. I'd vote no matter what but having a leader out there like Warren keeps me interested.

I'm tired of donating, and got bombarded by missives from various sources.

So, till I find canvassing and phone bank opportunities, which will more likely than not happen later...
