Reason why our party stunk up the room last night?

Don’t believe people who say it was because our candidates ran from Obama..
Or because the so called recovery is still not improving the lives of the Middle Class who have been hurting for 8 yrs.
Or because those who voted for change, gave up and didn’t vote..
Or any other rational reason you have been reading about for the last 2 days..

No..Hell no...

Its all due to the fear instilled in so much of our Country’s psyche by the lies perpetrated by Republican Operatives and Candidates ,supported by the mainstream media by not questioning any of the misrepresentations put forth by theses liars and frauds .... all paid for by the Corporatists who desire absolutely no change to the current status quo.

The fear of thuggery in our neighborhoods. The fear of hoards of illegal aliens coming across our borders infiltrating every sector of our community stealing medical services, education and jobs..The fear of Ebola spreading through our cities by travelers from Africa and Europe while our President sits on his hands.....And the fear that our President has a litany of agenda’s including changing our country into a "Muslim Dictatorship”.. Yes I actually read about this..

I would say that no matter what anyone says who voted Republican on tues..The reason they voted Republican was based on fear.. pure unadulterated fucking fear, created by the worst kind scum in our country...

1. I believe you are right

The only thing that will save them from their angst and fear is to vote for republicans. Brainwashing is what I call it.

2. Wrong

The fear of hoards of illegal aliens coming across our borders infiltrating every sector of our community stealing medical services

Unfortunately, Republicans weren't the only ones trying to court the racist, white vote. Senate Democrats asked President Obama to delay executive action on immigration. It was too close to the election and they feared that executive action by a Democratic president may have scared away some of those racist white voters in states that Democrats believed were winnable. What actually happened is that Latinos supported Democrats by smaller margins than they did in the past.

4. Yes. Several of my neighbors voted to elect Gillespie because they wanted to stop Obama.

I told them Obama's agenda has been severely hampered ever since he's been in office. Do you realize that the last two Congresses have been the most obstructionist Congresses in our nation's history? Congress hasn't let any legislation pass that would actually help Americans!

They looked at me like I was from another planet.

I asked them which Obama policies have they disagreed with outside of ObamaCare, and NONE of them were able to name a single one. Of course, I schooled them on some of the very good things that ObamaCare has provided us, and their eyes again glazed over.

It's a damn shame that Obama is most likely going to work with Congress to pass some of the most egregious legislation over the next two years (just like Clinton did). It will hurt most all of us so very much.

Republican candidates all over the nation got MANY votes because so many people wanted to Stop Obama. They are all ignorant fools (and many are racist).

makes them crazy! By god, he's going to be a one term president! Oh wait, he's not. That makes them even crazier.

6. Better Candidates and Better Strategy

The Democratic Party needs better candidates and a better strategy. Getting better candidates may not be as important as getting a better strategy. It is possible that the Democrats running on Tuesday would have won if voter turnout had been higher on the Democratic side. However, it is also possible that the low turnout was due to the candidates on the ballot.

The Democratic Party leaders need to figure out how to get Democratic voters to the polls every two years. The good thing for the Republican Party is that Republican voters go to the polls every two years.

Another thing Democrats need to do is get control of local governments. Elections from 2008 have shown the importance of controlling local governments. If Democrats had been in control of local governments in 2010 they would have been in control of redistricting. If Democrats had been in control of redistricting they most likely would have regained control of the House of Representatives in 2012. If Democrats had regained control of the House, more legislation might have been passed and the economic standing of more Americans might have improved.

7. Yes and no

Yes, the republicans won the day falling back to their tried and true product of fear and division.

You are correct about that.

You are wrong in a larger sense about "candidates" running away from President Obama.

It isn't just that small thing, it is the ENTIRE PARTY running from him, from day one.

Even before he got elected, the Republicans did to him what they do to any other democratic leader - from Jimmy Carter to Bill Clinton to Gore, Kerry, Dean, Pelosi, Reid. They EVICERATE them, put the knives to them AND THE PARTY BRAND, heck even the word Liberal. They are scorched earth on all things democratic.

And, the democrats have INCREASINGLY reacted by running into a corner.

So, yeah, candidates ran from Barrack Obama, because the repubilcans made him toxic.

But, they were able to do this because for 6 years the ENTIRE PARTY left the man out there to be made toxic.

Because the democrats did not stand behind their king (chess reference) the republicans got him and won the game.

So, first off, that democrats allowed this to happen allowed the republicans to do what they did.

SECOND, the democrats do not even have the heart and courage to simply state the plain truth about republicans.

They hate everything and everyone, and democrats should just plainly say that and force them to have to speak to it.

EVERY democratic official and elected office holder should just flatly say:

Republicans hate minorities
Republicans hate blacks
Republicans hate Hispanics
Republicans hate women
Republicans hate gays
Republicans hate blue collar worker, teachers, etc, ect.

Just say it like that and force them to speak to it.

But, what we have is republicans in mass screaming the most vile, untruthful and fantastically nonsensical bullshit imaginable with democrats cowering in a corner.

So, yeah, republicans won because they did what they do.

But, they won because democrats did, literally, NOTHING.
