Way late! Interesting how these things seem to take for ever to happen. But, it is happening! Thank you NY Times.

It is nice to see a spectrum of Americans who are outraged by this--I just hope the news of this doesn't die out quickly and people go on their merry ways. The media, in particular, needs to keep the news of this alive. I mean it's already out there and the least we can do--as Americans--is to do something about it and try our best to make sure this never happens again. Especially since public opinion polls seem to show disinterest and a majority of Americans who find it justifiable (in similar national threat circumstances)--which was pretty heart-breaking to see.

the Old Gray Lady sure did her share of cheerleading of the events leading up to this clusterfuck. I hope latecomers to this discussion are aware of that.

They sure did, along with all the other corporate media. After all, they all go to the same cocktail parties and run with the same crowd.

The NY Times front page spends the last decade talking "enhanced interrogation" and "necessary sacrifices for intelligence-gathering," and now they permit some editorialists to say that it's a crime. Break out the fucking champagne!
